What is the essential part of an image that is enough and sufficient to understand what that image is about? In a series of photographs in high key, I explore the concept of identity by portraying different views of a sunflower. In this image, the entire back of the flower is portrayed. This series of sunflower images are a composites of photographs with a stone texture superimposed on them.
