Hello time, 2022

When a flower begins wilting, then that's when it reveals it's beauty. Naked of the color, energy and vibrance of youth, it reveals its most desirable forms. Wilting flower photography is one of my favorite genres. I like to portray the various stages of wilting and I try to see in each of them the beauty of the things Wabi-Sabi. This japanese word is composed of two terms, Wabi’ is about recognizing beauty in simplicity. ‘Sabi’ focuses on the passage of time, how things grow, age, and decay, and how those changes are manifested in particular subjects.
